I have been a very angry person lately. I am not as angry as I was. Larry got home late afternoon on Friday. He slept in on Saturday. We shopped for a Netbook to make it easier on both of us if he can look for loads himself on the road. Usually I am looking for them on the phone with him. I am having another episode of my voice not working well, sound like I have a terrible case of laryngitis. Anyway, he ran over his cell phone with the 18 wheeler a couple of weeks ago and he bought the cheapest replacement he could, and he can't hear me speaking with it. We both get frustrated, him with not being able to understand me and me with having to yell and repeat every word several times before he understands what I am saying. I ended up online and found an Acer with Windows 7 for $100.00 it should be here Friday and Larry should be home Saturday we hope. He is loading for Dover, Delaware in the morning. He tried to load this afternoon, (right here in Cadillac for once) but the workers were already leaving when he got there. We went to his sister and brother in laws for movie and popcorn and chocolate (I always have a Coca Cola, my one serious addiction). I had rented "The Blind Side" and they liked it very much. I don't think anyone in this house likes it as much as I do. I have seen it 3 times now, once at the theater and twice on video player.
Today we were going to breakfast after Larry took the 18 wheeler to Lake City to the garage to get it checked out and were going to take Trey, his friend, Larry's mother and Larry and I. Just when we were heading back into town, Trey called to remind me Larry's mother's speech therapist was coming at 11:15 a.m. but had called to say she would be late. We turned to the house and waited for the therapist to work with her. They are trying to retrain parts of her brain that are not damaged from the stroke she had on January 20 to take over for the parts that were damaged. She cannot see well 20/60. They say she is progressing well. It is hard for me to see it. We have had our last visit from the Physical Therapist, who said she cannot be alone ever and must always use her walker to get around; the Occupational Therapist who helped us get swivel wheels for the front of her walker and then said she needed to sign papers to be done as there was noting more she could do as we had already purchased most of the equipement she would have recommended before she got here (a mixup in the office).
I am falling asleep so I will close for now. GN internet tweets.
