what country am I in????

What is going on????? It was so cold last week I had the usual 2 comforters and 3 blankets and a space heater in my room turned on medium high as I like it kinda cool in my room at night.

Today it was 76 degrees and the wind was NOT COLD or even COOL...... WE were outside without sweaters even and it was very comfortable.  Of course, with the snow going away so soon we are in Extreme Fire Danger.  No splainin' it .....

I tried to rake some old dead dry leaves and the rake handle broke.  I am not supposed to rake anyway, because I am allergic to the trees and the mold on the leaves, but I was going to try.  I told myself, "Lynda, God is telling you not to do those leaves and just leave them for Larry."  So, I did other things, like sit on the patio with Mrs. Baker and the umbrella up so we didn't get sunburn and try to program my new phone.   It is a Pantech slider with a qwirty board and I really enjoy texting with it.  My kids and grand kids and kids from church always text me and my old phone took me forever to answer them.

The nurse will be here for the last time next week.  The speech therapist will be coming for a couple more times.

Larry is coming in tomorrow with a load for Cadillac.  He loaded here on Tuesday for Norfolk, VA and from there back here.

He will be home all week next week as he has all kinds of doctor appointments to get his physical and see a surgeon to schedule an endoscopy.

Better him than me.  HA HA!!

My allergies are in high gear now that we have an upstairs window and the screened back door open.  Oh, well, better than being too hot, DID I JUST SAY THAT?????

I have  a headache and I am going to sign off and go to bed.  Later

mind wanderings: Well, I really got angry today.

mind wanderings: Well, I really got angry today.

Well, I really got angry today.

I really appreciate (GAG) that the ANIMAL POLICE are on duty in Cadillac today. I met Larry at Big Boy to give him a few things he forgot and maybe have a few minutes together (ALONE- even in a crowded restaurant it is the most alone time we get) before he heads out for Dover, Delaware. He only got home Friday night late after being gone for 14 days. I was in a hurry and our 2 little fox terriers wanted to go for a ride, so I let them get in the car with me. It was 31 degrees F when I parked the car in a sunny spot so they wouldn't get cold. I rolled a window down and Jack, Oreo's baby who is larger than she is started shivering, so I rolled it back up knowing I would be at the most 30-40 minutes in the restaurant. Larry got a dirty look from a policeman who pullled into the parking lot behind him and so he had cleared it with our waitress that it was ok for him to be parking there, she said it was fine. About 5 minutes later the waitresses were talking about "do you know who comes in here that has 2 dogs in their car?" and I said I do, and they said "Well, Paula (who the heck she is I don't know) was there and had taken down my car tag number and was calling the police because I had left my dogs in my car with the windows rolled up and they were going to die. She was really upset." WELL HERE IS A MESSAGE FOR PAULA!!!! GET A LIFE, LEAVE MINE ALONE. I got mad and left. Larry said "Lynda, sit down" I left anyway. I have a short fuse anymore, might be because I am homebound most of the time with his 90 year old mother. When I got to the restaurant everyone wanted to know why she wasn't with me. I left her home in her favorite chair working on her speech therapy homework sheets and Trey, our 20 year old grandson was asleep in the next room and would get up the second she would call him. Remember, the total time I would be gone would be 1 hour. I am so tired of everyone and everything and what EVERYBODY thinks being more important them ME. OK, had my pity party for the day and now I will get some paperwork done. TTYL

Hello, Friends, if you are here, you are wondering what is on my mind......(and if you're a close friend you just said "WHAT MIND"?? LOL)

I have been a very angry person lately. I am not as angry as I was. Larry got home late afternoon on Friday. He slept in on Saturday. We shopped for a Netbook to make it easier on both of us if he can look for loads himself on the road. Usually I am looking for them on the phone with him. I am having another episode of my voice not working well, sound like I have a terrible case of laryngitis. Anyway, he ran over his cell phone with the 18 wheeler a couple of weeks ago and he bought the cheapest replacement he could, and he can't hear me speaking with it. We both get frustrated, him with not being able to understand me and me with having to yell and repeat every word several times before he understands what I am saying. I ended up online and found an Acer with Windows 7 for $100.00 it should be here Friday and Larry should be home Saturday we hope. He is loading for Dover, Delaware in the morning. He tried to load this afternoon, (right here in Cadillac for once) but the workers were already leaving when he got there. We went to his sister and brother in laws for movie and popcorn and chocolate (I always have a Coca Cola, my one serious addiction). I had rented "The Blind Side" and they liked it very much. I don't think anyone in this house likes it as much as I do. I have seen it 3 times now, once at the theater and twice on video player.
Today we were going to breakfast after Larry took the 18 wheeler to Lake City to the garage to get it checked out and were going to take Trey, his friend, Larry's mother and Larry and I. Just when we were heading back into town, Trey called to remind me Larry's mother's speech therapist was coming at 11:15 a.m. but had called to say she would be late. We turned to the house and waited for the therapist to work with her. They are trying to retrain parts of her brain that are not damaged from the stroke she had on January 20 to take over for the parts that were damaged. She cannot see well 20/60. They say she is progressing well. It is hard for me to see it. We have had our last visit from the Physical Therapist, who said she cannot be alone ever and must always use her walker to get around; the Occupational Therapist who helped us get swivel wheels for the front of her walker and then said she needed to sign papers to be done as there was noting more she could do as we had already purchased most of the equipement she would have recommended before she got here (a mixup in the office).

I am falling asleep so I will close for now. GN internet tweets.
